
HOW IT GOT STARTED
I have had a passion for fitness, nutrition and overall wellness for as long as I can remember. I was always active while growing up which lead me to pursue a degree in Exercise Science in college. While going to college I remained active but got a little bored with the same gym routine. After some searching, I found crossfit, tried my first and was hooked! With crossfit came learning about all these "diets"- the paleo diet, the zone diet, counting macros, etc. I tried all these diets but there was always something that didn't work for me. At that point I found The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I found that the school teaches a holistic approach health and wellness. I enrolled right away and spent the next 12 months learning about over 100 dietary theories; from vegan, to the blood type diet. The school provided all the tools needed to become a certified health coach. One of the first things I learned at this school was that what I was lacking in all the other diets- was BALANCE. I loved how much this school gave an insight on how to have balance in all aspects in life. In 2014 I became a certified health coach and have worked with some amazing people!  After getting my certificate I decided I was going to dedicate more time to crossfit and in 2015 I got my level 1 certificate and started coaching! I love helping people find the balance in their life; teaching them that what works for someone may not work for them. It has been so much fun doing what I love and I can't wait to help as many people as I can!
